Thank You For The Wonderful Year
As 2019 draws close, we would like to take the chance to thank our parents and students for your support for the past year.
2019 has been a difficult year for us at the start. We went through rounds of rebranding, new school name, new caps, new equipment and even new training syllabus. However, important things close to our heart, such as our beliefs, our students' hard work and our parents' support remain the same.
On our competitive team
This year, majority of our competitive swimmers went for their first races. They did a really great job and almost all of them clocked better timings than they did during trainings. Though we did not walk away with any medals, we are exceptionally proud of their resilience and determination. In the next year, we will concentrate to help these swimmers achieve better height. The next swim we will be aiming for is the SSPA.
On Learn-to-swim students
As our competitive swimmers shine, we have also welcomed many new learn-to-swim students ranging from various new locations like High Park Residences, InZ Residences, Yew Mei Green, Evergreen Park, The Panorama, just to name a few. We also have plans to organise classes in a few more condominiums to provide affordable and convenient swimming classes for everybody.
On our collaboration with Queenstown Waterpolo
The start of next year also marks our second year of collaboration with one of Singapore oldest and most established waterpolo club. This collaboration allows our team of coaches to prepare our students for waterpolo, should they decide to further their journey after learning how to swim.
On our membership collaboration
We kicked off our membership card in June and it was a very fun project we took on! Our main objective of this collaboration is to create a win-win situation for our friends who runs small businesses and our parents.
As we all know, small time businesses like ours, need a lot of eyeballs and word of mouth recommendations. With a collaboration like this, we help small businesses that we think are honest and hardworking to reach out to more people, and at the same time, our parents enjoy a range of discounts whenever they support these homegrown businesses.
In conclusion
2019 has been a trying, but fruitful year for us. We have toiled, we have teared, yet we have roared and we have succeeded. As we kick off the new decade, we wish our students, parents and partners health, love and success.
Best wishes,
Coach Nian and Team
