Coach Nian - Head Coach of Odysseus Aquatics
Well-known for his courage, intelligence, and leadership, ODYSSEUS was one of the great heroes of Greek mythology. His resourcefulness and oratory skills were the essence of the Greek victory in the Trojan War and following it, was a series of fantastic adventures on his long voyage back home to Ithaka.
We named our swim school ODYSSEUS because we hope that our children will possess Odysseus’ spirit of courage, intelligence and leadership.
We also believe that learning is an odyssey itself, full of fun and fantastic adventures waiting for us.

ABOUT COACH NIAN
In the pool, Coach Nian is a fun, passionate and energetic coach who can capture both the attention and hearts of even the cheekiest children. With over hundreds of students going through training with him, many of them were children who were fearful of water.
Despite that, majority of them have blossomed into proficient swimmers, with some even swimming in the competitive league! Coach Nian believes in combining play with learning. With an affordable monthly rate, learning to swim has never been more fun for the children and easy on the pockets for parents.
Off the pool, Coach Nian is a father of three young children. His experience with his little ones have also helped him to communicate with his students, understanding them and making a difference to their otherwise boring swimming classes! Coach Nian is accredited with the following:

NCAP Technical Level 1 (Singapore Swimming Association)
Diploma in Sports Management
